Note: The Screen Saver Engine was designed for color Handheld
PCs only.
Please try the Screen Saver Engine before you purchase it, since
some hardware and software combinations prevent the Screen Saver Engine from
functioning properly.
Screen Saver Engine
Screen savers for Windows CE? It's sort of a novel idea, but we here at Xoanan
Industries got tired of looking at out color H/PCs sit motionless for hours
while they're plugged in. By default our Screen Saver Engine won't launch the
currently selected screen saver if your H/PC is running on battery power. (Most
people let Windows CE shut down their machine after so many minutes of
inactivity while on batter power, so a screen saver wouldn't be much good in
that case.)
The Screen Saver Engine for Windows CE comes with two screen
savers: the Star Field and the Blank Screen screen savers. Both of these are
very similar to the ones found on both Windows 98 and Windows 2000.
But the screen saver we're really proud of is Funky
Spheres. We originally wrote this for the PC, but we ported it to Windows
CE, and now you can enjoy Funky Spheres on your Handheld PC too!
Screen Saver Engine Overview
- Puts an icon in your system tray for easy access to
configuration of your screen savers.
- Defaults to not turn on the screen saver when running on battery power.
- The Screen Saver Engine comes with two screen savers, Blank Screen and
Star Field.
- Use Ctrl-Alt-S to start your screen saver at any time in any application!
Registration
Until you register your copy of the Screen Saver Engine, your screen saver
will only stay on for a minute at a time. Since a one minute screen saver
isn't too useful order a Screen Saver Engine license today!
